Privacy & Data Policy

I have designed this site with the belief that digital footprints should be treated with the same respect as the people they represent.

I do not operate this site as a data-collection business: in fact, this is not a business at all. If anything, this is my personal website where I offer my IP/resources free (Gratis/ CC BY-NC-ND). I do not collect emails, not I have any database or funnel.

The purpose of this page is to explain plainly what information is collected when you visit this site, how it is used, and the boundaries I maintain regarding your privacy.

The core philosophy

I do not actively maintain a visitor database, advertising profile, mailing list, or marketing-tracking system through this site. I do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

My work focuses on the intersection of human dignity and technology. It would be entirely contradictory to that work if this site were built to quietly extract and monetize your data.

What information is processed

Because this is a functioning website, the underlying infrastructure inevitably processes some basic technical data to ensure the site loads securely and correctly.

Infrastructure and Hosting Data This site is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, the hosting infrastructure may automatically process limited technical information. This can include:

  • Your IP address (temporarily, for security and routing)

  • Browser type and device information

  • Request times and security logs

  • Aggregate traffic measurements

I receive only the information made available through these platforms, generally in aggregated, anonymized form. I use this solely to understand broad trends (e.g., which articles are being read or if there is a sudden spike in traffic) and to ensure the site remains secure. I do not use it to build individual visitor profiles.

Cookies

I use a minimal set of cookies (small text files placed on your device) to ensure basic site functionality and to support the aggregate analytics mentioned above.

There are no invasive third-party advertising trackers on this site. You have the right to accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner presented when you first arrive.

External platforms and links

I intentionally do not host a direct contact form or comment section on this site to minimize the collection of personal data. Links for questions, permissions, or conversation lead directly to my LinkedIn profile.

Similarly, much of my research, publications, and projects are hosted by external platforms, including LinkedIn, SSRN, Zenodo, ResearchGate, GitHub, Apple, and Google.

When you follow a link to one of these external services, their infrastructure takes over. Their own privacy policies, cookies, account requirements, and terms apply. I do not control those services and cannot govern their privacy practices.

Specific applications

If a particular application, research instrument, or interactive feature I have built (such as Entropy of Us) handles information differently, it will provide a more specific, dedicated privacy notice within the application itself. That specific notice will take precedence over this general website policy.

Requests and concerns

If you have a good-faith concern involving privacy, data handling, or a related matter regarding this site, please contact me through my LinkedIn profile: here.

Please include the relevant context so I can understand the request. I will review reasonable concerns in good faith.
